The Position

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, experienced Patient Journey Partner (PJP) Ophthalmology to join the Customer Engagement Center at Roche Pharmaceuticals A/S in Denmark.
In this strategic yet hands-on role, you will be the central point of contact for all health care stakeholders involved in the care pathway of patients with eye conditions (such as macular degeneration). As our "eyes and ears" in the field, you will bridge the gap between external stakeholder needs-such as ophthalmologists, clinic managers and regional healthcare authorities-and the expertise within our internal cross-functional business team. Your primary goal is to accelerate access to innovative treatments and significantly improve patient outcomes across Denmark's healthcare ecosystem.

The Opportunity:
* Map the Patient Journey: Identify bottlenecks in the healthcare ecosystem, leverage data-driven insights, and translate external findings into pragmatic national strategies.
* Build Sustainable Partnerships: Cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with ophthalmologists and key regional healthcare decision-makers to drive measurable improvements in healthcare access.
* Co-create Solutions: Act as a peer-level sparring partner for healthcare professionals to develop practical, scalable solutions that support the optimal use of medical innovations.
* Drive Lifecycle Impact: Champion the introduction and long-term implementation of innovative therapies, ensuring their clinical and economic value is recognized and utilized.
* Lead and Coach: Act as a natural mentor within your multidisciplinary team, aligning and coaching colleagues to ensure an integrated, agile approach.

Who You Are:
* Background: A Master's degree in Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Science, Health Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial or medical field experience within the pharmaceutical or medical device (MedTech) industry, e.g., as a Senior Ophthalmology Key Account Manager or Ophthalmology Medical Science Liaison.
* Certification: You possess the Atrium Consultant certification (Atrium-konsulentuddannelsen) or are willing to commence the training in accordance with Atrium's requirements upon your employment with Roche Pharmaceuticals A/S.
* Specialization: Deep knowledge of ophthalmology and an existing local ophthalmology HCP network in Denmark is highly preferred. Experience with ophthalmic medical equipment or digital health solutions is a strong plus.
* Mindset: An entrepreneurial "can-do" spirit. You think strategically but are equally excited to roll up your sleeves and implement complex projects pragmatically in a field-based role.
* Communication: Exceptional communication and listening skills. You are fluent in Danish and English.
* Leadership: Proven experience coaching or mentoring colleagues (formally or informally) to elevate team performance.
