At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city's newest and most prestigious luxury hotels, we are looking for a qualified, proactive, and service-oriented Linen & Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the care, organization, and distribution of hotel linens and uniforms, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and availability across all departments.
This position is offered under a temporary medical leave replacement contract (contrato de sustitución por baja médica). About the Role

As a Linen & Laundry Attendant, you will act as an ambassador of the Hyatt brand, ensuring all linens and uniforms meet the highest quality standards, supporting the overall operation and guest satisfaction.
This is an operational position with a rotating schedule, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to hotel operational needs. You will work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain a smooth and efficient flow of linen and uniforms across the property.

Key Responsibilities

* Sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens and uniforms according to established standards
* Ensuring the proper storage and organization of clean linens and uniforms
* Distributing linen and uniforms to different departments as required
* Monitoring linen stock levels and reporting shortages or damages
* Identifying and separating stained or damaged items for special treatment or replacement
* Maintaining cleanliness and order in the laundry and linen room areas
* Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently
* Following hygiene, safety, and chemical handling procedures at all times
* Supporting inventory controls and participating in periodic stock counts
* Responding promptly to departmental requests related to linen and uniforms
* Coordinating with external laundry suppliers when needed
* Maintaining accurate records of laundry operations and usage

Profil requis du candidat:

Qualifications

Requisitos y Perfil
* Experiencia previa en lavandería, lencería o housekeeping, preferiblemente en hoteles o grandes instalaciones
* Conocimientos en tratamiento de prendas textiles y procesos de lavandería
* Capacidad para planchar correctamente diferentes tipos de ropa
* Conocimientos básicos de costura para arreglos sencillos
* Atención al detalle y compromiso con altos estándares de limpieza y presentación
* Capacidad de organización y eficiencia en tareas repetitivas
* Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y colaborar con otros departamentos
* Actitud proactiva, responsable y orientada al servicio
* Flexibilidad horaria para turnos rotativos, fines de semana y festivos
* Compromiso con la seguridad, la higiene y los procedimientos establecidos
* Dominio obligatorio del español (imprescindible); conocimientos de inglés serán valorados
