Category Buyer - Electrical Equipment & Accessories - Direct Procurement
Organization: Procurement - Global Supply Chain - Engineering to Order Business
Location: Budapest, Hungary

Mission
The role is part of the Procurement organization of ETO within the Europe region, and is based in Budapest in our Global Supply Chain Hub. You will manage regional relationship between Schneider Electric & the suppliers.
Category Buyer will act as main SPOC of the suppliers under his/her responsibility, leading business continuity, driving strategy, supplier base development and optimization and enhance digital capabilities and sustainability with supplier and their supply chain.

What You'll Do

This role is the key interface with the plants covering procurement activities and suppliers' management:
* Interface with category manager to collect ETO specifications, specify the qualification criteria and contribute to the segmentation of the strategy
* Contribute and implement the strategy (SOC) in the cluster perimeter
* Taking the category strategies into account, you will build & drive the category APOP (Annual Procurement Operational Plan) validated by Global Category & Plant.
* By cooperating together with Global category & SQLD team you will build the supplier development plan and support its deployment from supplier side
* Negotiate global frame-agreements with suppliers
* Initiate and drive breakthrough (make or buy, rebalancing, SBO, innovation…) on the category incl. following the advancement
* Develop supplier competitiveness and assess the quality level. React in front of deviations.
* Organize lesson learnt per category (multi-supplier approach). Return of Experience on key projects or on ETO dimension.
* Secure Supplier competitiveness on the category perimeter and the performance on negotiation lever
* Create, manage and track all productivity actions in dedicated tool (iSave)
* Raise and address "cluster" supplier quality of service and business continuity
* Business Continuity first level for escalation
* Support Plant Procurement Manager (PPM) and Procurement Group Manager (PGM) on Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) strategy (Sponsorship, C2P, Business review)
* Supplier base next generation, supplier selection connected with Category Strategy
* Coordination with Customer Project Buyers on key projects and opportunities

What You'll Bring
* Bachelor/Master's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain from a leading educational institution with good academic credentials is preferred.
* Demonstrated Procurement Management skills: capable of defining strategy, animating a team, convincing, and influencing the stakeholders.
* Ability to navigate in a complex environment and organization, connecting with people and creating strong networking.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to convince & influence a large network of internal/external stakeholders including presentation skills.
* Business Acumen, understanding of Schneider Electric business objectives, the ETO Business drivers and the industrial landscape we operate in.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Demonstrated strong capabilities in the following dimensions: Leadership, Digital, Communication, Collaboration, Customer Focus, Strategic Thinking.
* Technical capability to understand deeply their purchases.
* High level of adaptability and change management, ability to learn and grow quickly. Innovation to our practices and ability to drive transformations (transformative and disruptive mindset).
* Cross-cultural awareness.
* Capability of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
* Having full accountability and leadership of the topics, managing end to end governance.
* Strong Customer focus with an understanding of the Supply chain and Quality process.
* Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
