Framework developer trainee (integration tester)
Project specific intro:
We are an international i-test team working on industrial automation systems, focusing on quality - but not in the "traditional testing" sense. We build and improve our own test automation tools and frameworks, developed in C#, creating tools, tests, and supporting systems, collaborateing closely with teams in Hungary, Germany, and the Czech Republic. We are increasingly exploring modern directions (AI / agentic approaches).
You'll make an impact by:
* Working on C#-based development and test automation tasks
* Contributing to building and improving our internal tools and frameworks
* Taking part in developing a modern test framework
* Analyzing issues and understand how complex systems work (not just "fix bugs")
* Collaborating closely with experienced developers (pair programming, shared problem-solving)
Your success is grounded in:
* Ongoing university studies (computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar)
* Basic C# programming knowledge
* Interest in software development and/or test automation
* Strong problem-solving mindset
* Basic communication skills in English (German is a plus)
You'll stand out with:
* Experience with PLC programming (ideally Siemens SIMATIC / TIA Portal)
* Interest or hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, or agentic AI approaches
