Description du poste:

Year 1: Hungary (Bio R&D site) · Year 2: United States (R&D site) Ceva Santé Animale is building an integrated R&D data ecosystem: a single analytical backbone fed cleanly and consistently by the systems where our science actually happens (EDC, ELN, LIMS, regulatory platforms…). This role exists to drive that shift: moving from a "file-based" reflex to a "data product" mindset. You will design and build the data models and pipelines that turn raw laboratory and clinical study data into clean, governed, reusable data products feeding our data lake, across our Bio R&D sites in Hungary and the United States. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong relational dimension. You will sit at the intersection of central IT data management, laboratory scientists, clinicians and clinical data managers, translating between these worlds and making interoperability real. * Design and implement robust data models for laboratory and clinical trial data, built from the start for interoperability with our scientific and regulatory systems (EDC, ELN, LIMS, RIMS). * Build and maintain reliable data pipelines that feed our data lake cleanly - replacing Excel- and paper-based workflows with structured, automated, governed data flows. * Apply a data product approach: treat each dataset as a product with clear ownership, documentation, quality standards and identified consumers, not as a one-off extract. * Engage directly with three communities and translate between them: central IT data managers (architecture, governance, master data); laboratory and scientific teams across the species portfolio (poultry, bovine, swine, companion animals, aquaculture); and clinical study teams and clinical data managers. * Ensure data quality, consistency and traceability, with attention to R&D and regulatory data standards where applicable (e.g. CDISC SEND/SDTM). * Leverage AI/ML tooling and modern data engineering practices to accelerate data structuring, mapping, quality control and documentation. * Contribute a digital project management dimension: scoping, sequencing, stakeholder coordination and progress tracking on the initiatives you support. * Document models and pipelines so they can be owned and extended by local teams after handover

Profil requis du candidat:

* Background in data engineering, computer science, applied mathematics / statistics, bioinformatics or a related field. * Solid programming skills (Python and SQL essential); experience with data transformation frameworks a plus. * Understanding of data modelling and the principles of clean, interoperable data architecture. * Familiarity with or genuine curiosity for scientific and clinical data environments and the realities of laboratory and clinical work. * Comfort with modern data platforms and AI-assisted data tooling. * Strong communication and translation skills: able to hold a credible conversation with an IT architect, a bench scientist, a veterinarian / clinician and a clinical data manager sometimes in the same day. * A product and project mindset: pragmatic, structured, outcome-oriented. * Openness to an international, multi-site environment is essential
