We are seeking a qualified actuary to join the (COMPANY NAME) Personal Lines Pricing team.

This team consists of qualified and trainee actuaries delivering street pricing insights, analysis & recommendations to the business, and fair pricing for customers. You will be collaborating with all key stakeholders in a partnership approach for the benefit of (COMPANY NAME) Insurance Ireland, with shared goals and values.

Location: Cherrywood, Dublin 18 with hybrid working

Duties & Responsibilities
As a Personal Lines Pricing Actuary, you will be accountable for all pricing recommendations, insights and analyses relating to your nominated products in the following areas:
* Modelling
* Translating technical price changes into street pricing
* Customer behavioural modelling
* Price recommendation
* Analysing risk mix changes and making pricing recommendations
* Generating Actual Price vs Technical Price insights and recommendations
* Own the regular price setting and implementation processes
* Lead pricing inputs into and supporting key Business processes - Valuation and planning and forecasting
* Representing Pricing at the monthly Partner Distribution meetings
* Insight and explanation on the Fair Pricing and APTP MI
* Pricing controls are operated and assessed as required. Issues and actions are dealt with

Skills & Experience:
* Qualified actuary of the Society of Actuaries of Ireland, or equivalent
* Previous pricing experience, preferably in personal lines.
* Strong analytical skills
* Microsoft suite
* Programming skills
* Experience of SQL, Emblem and Radar
* Knowledge of the Irish insurance market
* Influencing skills
* Problem solving is a key skill in all actuarial pricing work. In this role you will be required to use your skills to address problems, understand deviations in expected results, put forward logical reasoning for recommended courses of action.
