Mercer a business by Marsh is seeking an outstanding professional to lead and grow our Savings Plan Consulting practice in Mexico (Location: México City, Monterrey or Guadalajara) This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-impact solution that creates value for clients while strengthening employees' financial wellbeing and savings culture across the country.
We are looking for a leader who combines deep technical expertise, business and commercial acumen, strong internal influence, and the ability to build trusted relationships across clients, colleagues, and teams.
Work Model: Hybrid (at least 3 days per week in the office)
What can you expect:
*
Lead and grow the practice by owning the strategy, market positioning, client value proposition, revenue growth, profitability, and overall quality of delivery of Marsh's savings fund solution.
*
Serve as the technical authority on savings funds, with strong understanding of the regulatory framework, market application, operating model, governance, and the investment-related component of the solution.
*
Drive commercial growth by selling the solution directly to clients, expanding existing relationships, and partnering with Marsh consultants to identify, develop, and close opportunities across the organization.
*
Build strong credibility and internal visibility so colleagues across Marsh recognize both you and the solution as go-to resources, and actively bring savings fund opportunities to their clients.
*
Lead and develop a team of consulting professionals, setting clear direction, coaching talent, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with Marsh's values.
What you need to have
*
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, actuarial science, law, or a related field.
*
Proven experience in savings funds, employee savings or financial wellbeing solutions, retirement, investments, or related financial/benefits consulting areas.
*
Strong track record in business development and consultative sales with corporate clients.
*
Solid understanding of the regulatory and investment-related aspects of savings fund solutions.
*
Experience leading client relationships, complex initiatives, and ideally teams.
*
Strong executive presence, communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
*
Advanced business English is required.
*
Availability to travel within Mexico as business needs require (no more than once a month maybe more just at the beggining
*
AMIB certification is highly desirable, or the ability to obtain/maintain the certification required for the role.
