Entry-Level Structural Analysis Engineer

Boeing Poland is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Analysis Engineer to join the Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) team located in Warsaw or Rzeszow, Poland.

The successful candidate will be performing simulation & structural analysis work, supporting development of Scope of Work and supporting BDS technical leadership.

Position Responsibilities:
* Performs limited structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
* Supports product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
* Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
* Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
* Works under close supervision

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform most work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
* Knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as structure, materials and properties, design criteria, release processes, structural analysis
* Experience or knowledge in performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and/or finite element tools
* Solid communicator, fluent of both written and verbal English
* Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Experience in metallic structures static analysis (composite experience is a plus)
* Knowledge in damage tolerance analysis and inspection methods
* Aerospace experience
* Experience in working within a cross-functional interpersonal environment

Additional Requirement:
The individual will be required to obtain clearance for work under military concession (regulated by act of 13 June 2019 on conducting business activities in the field of manufacturing and trading in explosives, weapons, ammunition and products and technology for military or police purposes).
