Overview We're seeking a visionary and driven individual to join our esteemed MarTech team. As a Software Engineer, you'll embark on a thrilling journey of designing, constructing, and maintaining cutting-edge software applications that empower our marketing technology services. Join the prestigious Marketing Technology Team, collaborating with Channable API, Social Media APIs, upstream and our IT stack downstream. Your key accountabilities will be to: Develop and maintain data integration pipelines in Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics Communicate with stakeholders and users of our data products by understanding their problems and supporting them in their needs Improve existing data integration processes to provide better reliability and robustness What is needed to succeed: Problem-solving team player with an analytical mind Strong knowledge of SQL and Spark SQL Understanding of dimensional data modelling concepts Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics Understanding of streaming data ingestion processes Ability to develop / manage Apache Spark data processing applications using PySpark on Databricks Experience with version control (e.g. Git), DevOps and CI/CD Experience with Python Experience with Microsoft data platform, Microsoft Azure stack and Databricks Experience in marketing is a plus. High attention to detail. Able to maintain taxonomies, naming conventions and documentation. High regard for data quality. Self-motivated and proactive. Collaborative by nature - able to partner with internal and external teams and be flexible to variable team dynamics and culture.
