Location - you can be based at either Crawley,Templecombe, Belfast or Glasgow with approx. 25% percent travel expected within the UK

Our Opportunity
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Industrial Supply Chain Planning and Systems to join the Industrial team who manufacture (COMPANY NAME) products

You will be part of the leadership team responsible for maturing and developing the UK Planning Function across the UK; with a focus on customer satisfaction and internal performance and governance, together with taking the lead for manufacturing in the process convergence of industrial planning. You will bring best practices and enable the professional development of your people

This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held; if not currently held it is expected that the post holder will undergo SC Clearance, please visit the UKSV website for further guidance.

About You
* You will have demonstrable experience in material resource planning and a solid understanding of manufacturing systems and ideally come from a Defence, Aerospace, or Automotive background, together with:-
* Successfully managed 50 plus planners functionally
* Must have worked in a large complex multisite organisation with around 700 people within ICC (Industry competency centre)/or a Production Centre with multiple product lines
* You will have significant experience with in a senior industrial/planning role and have a APICS qualification or equivalent certification
* The ability to translate strategic business vision into the tangible delivery of necessary logistics and supply chain capability both domestically and worldwide
* Strong understanding of lean aspects (one piece flow, line balancing)
* Proven, deep understanding of best practice MRP/ERP and other industrial toolsets and S&OP.
* Experience/understanding of total supply chain disciplines (Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Delivery, Supplier Quality Assurance, Logistic/Delivery)
