Working closely with the Paid Search Manager and the broader digital marketing team, this role translates data-driven insights into actionable plans while mentoring their peers and managing day-to-day operational details. This position is a key stepping stone for professionals aspiring to evolve into a managerial role, offering increased responsibility in campaign planning and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign strategy & planning
* Collaborate with the Paid Search Manager to develop tactical campaign plans that align with overall marketing objectives.
* Translate strategic insights and performance data into detailed, actionable campaign blueprints.
Campaign execution & optimisation
* Oversee the setup, maintenance, and continuous optimisation of paid search campaigns across core platforms (e.g., Google Search Ads via SA360) with potential expansion to additional channels.
* Execute test plans and iterate on strategies to drive improvements in CPA, ROI, and overall campaign performance.
Performance analysis & reporting
* Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance using advanced data tools (Excel, Tableau, Looker Studio) to identify trends and opportunities.
* Prepare clear, concise performance reports and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Collaboration & cross-channel integration
* Work in tandem with other digital channels (paid social, programmatic, organic social) to ensure an integrated approach to media planning and execution.
* Liaise with creative, analytics, product, and SEO functions to ensure campaigns are aligned with broader digital marketing initiatives.
Mentorship & process improvement
* Provide guidance and support to Paid Search Executives, sharing best practices and insights to foster team development.
* Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline campaign management and reporting.
Budget & vendor management
* Monitor campaign budgets, ensure precise tracking and pacing against monthly and campaign-specific caps.
* Manage vendor relationships for day-to-day support and new product rollouts, ensuring operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
* 2-3+ years in a Paid Search role with demonstrable success in campaign management and optimisation.
* Previous experience on the agency or client side within media, SVOD/OTT, or similar industries is preferred.
* Advanced knowledge of Google Search Ads and managing bidding and automation through SA360.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualisation.
* In-depth understanding of conversion tracking, bid management, and attribution models.
* Proven ability to translate large data sets into actionable recommendations that drive campaign performance, backing up rationales to decisions with data.
* Detail-oriented with a strong focus on maintaining account hygiene and optimising for key performance metrics.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to clearly articulate insights and strategic recommendations.
* Experience working cross-functionally and the ability to mentor junior team members.
* A passion for digital media trends and an interest in content areas such as reality TV.
* A solid understanding of marketing subscription-based products.
Desired Characteristics:

* Fluent written and spoken English
The responsibilities associated with this position are not limited to the above description and may be modified at any time by the Company.
