Technical Field Service Specialist, Hospital Patient Monitoring
Job Description
As a Technical Field Service Specialist, you will be a key member of the implementation & upgrade project and service team, implementing and upgrading Patient Monitoring solutions at our customer sites. The main goal of your role is to ensure successful implementations & upgrades and positive customer experiences.
The majority of this position is targeted geographically within either Storstockholm or north of Sweden, or Region Västra Götaland, but as a natural part of the service organization, travel outside this main focus area will be required, consequently willingness to travel is necessary for this role.
Your role:
* Install, upgrade, deploying, servicing and/or integrating patient monitoring hardware and software solutions.
* Configuring, maintaining, and testing our products at customer sites and/or Philips Delivery Center in Upplands Väsby.
* Technical responsibility for the whole implementation process, from planning through installation & upgrade, go-live and handover.
* Managing detailed quality documentation in adherence to medical directive standards.
You're the right fit if you have :
* Relevant medical/electrical engineering (or similar) educational background.
* A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience working experience with medical devices and understand the special character working in the hospitals is preferable.
* Have a strong interest and affinity for IT solutions including knowledge on networking (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWTS or equivalent) and IT infrastructures (VMWare, Hyper V, SQL Server) is preferable
* Self-motivated, task-forced team player who is persistent in achieving the goals set.
* Highly professional and knowledgeable approach to solving customer problems and ownership of own projects.
* Fluency in both, Swedish, English and driver's license (Swedish B) and willingness to travel
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This role is classified as a field role.
