This Position reports to:Maintenance Team Leader
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the maintenance team. You will carry out daily activities in accordance with the agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. In addition, you will contribute your expertise to increase the overall efficiency of our equipment and production lines.
The work model for this position is: on-site.
This role contributes to Electrification, Smart Buildings, Energy Distribution in Schaffhausen.
Your Responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on equipment within our diverse and highly automated machinery park.
* Performing preventive maintenance and servicing of production equipment.
* Collaborating closely with production cells, Production Engineering, and external service providers.
* Supporting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
* Contributing to improvements in the area of lean management.
Qualifications for the Role
* Completed apprenticeship as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, polymechanic, production mechanic, electrician, or a comparable qualification.
* Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues on production and assembly equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
* NIV13 or NIV15 installation certification is desirable, or willingness to obtain it (covered by ABB).
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills, motivation, and an independent working style.
* Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
* Excellent German skills; basic English skills are an advantage.
* Willingness to work in a 3-shift system with on-call duty (after an intensive onboarding phase).
