We are seeking an Applications Specialist to support aerospace customers. A successful representative is responsible for account management and generating new opportunities for the organization. The main task involves understanding customers' needs in metalworking, as well as educating customers, prospects, and distributors of Sandvik Coromant's products and capabilities. It is essential for the applications specialist to effectively provide detailed information on various products, programs or services offered by Sandvik Coromant, but also clearly and effectively communicate what the customer needs back to the Sandvik Coromant Team.

Job Description:

* Building relationships in customer production and production management and ultimately closing deals.
* Fulfills total delivery of technical solution for aerospace industry and sales support to end-customers and distributors, in close cooperation with Account Managers to grow share of wallet.
* Coordinates and organizes interaction between technical and commercial departments of the company, as well as relevant distributor services for projects in the Sales department.
* Prepares integrated solutions for customers. Engaged by Account Managers to visits to current and potential accounts. Support Account Manager in new product and service introduction to customers.
* Recommends products and services that fit well with clients' business needs during solution offer with Account Managers.
* Responds to more complex technical questions regarding the organization's products, systems, or services.
* Develops and delivers training to external partners and customers on the features of their purchase. Troubleshoots, investigates, and resolves technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
* Develops test applications used for testing modules, including customer-specific components.

Your profile

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or relevant degrees
* With minimum 5 years of proven expertise in cutting tools and machining applications in aerospace components, you possess deep knowledge of manufacturing processes in metal cutting and their optimization.
* Having experience in managing complex technical projects end-to-end and skilled in building collaborative relationships that drive customer value.
* Having good knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and digital machining tools
* Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish is required
* Military service must be completed (for male candidates only)
* High willingness to travel without any restrictions,
* Having valid driving license class B
* Residing in Eskişehir
