What To Expect
This role supports Tesla's APAC operations through strategic sourcing of critical supply chain services, including finished vehicle transportation, storage and inventory management, pre-delivery inspection (PDI) services, automotive parts and energy product warehousing and logistics services.

The Procurement Intern will support Global Supply Manager (GSM) and cross-functional stakeholders to prepare tender documentation (RFPs, RFQs), analyse supplier quotations and market data, execute procurement plans aligned with business objectives and support contract management through framework agreements and supplier work orders.

What You'll Do

* Provide operational support to GSM in tender/RFP preparation, strategic analysis, and procurement execution.
* Partner with APAC operational teams to translate business needs into sourcing requirements.
* Coordinate tender documentation, evaluate supplier proposals, and deliver actionable recommendations considering cost, quality, and risk factors.
* Maintain supplier databases and contractual agreements using Tesla's procurement systems to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
* Facilitate implementation of sourcing strategies by resolving project blockers and ensuring timely execution.

What You'll Bring

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, Master's qualification will be a plus.
* Proven experience in purchasing and contract management processes.
* Computer savvy with Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Ability to leverage AI tools.
* Ability to produce high quality presentations for executive consumption.
* Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure environments with precision and deadlines.
* Self-motivated with a track record of independent execution and accountability.
* Experience collaborating with multicultural teams and stakeholders.
