The Business Process Optimization Intern will support the Supply Chain
This internship is intended for an enthusiastic, curious, and detail-oriented individual who applies rigor to any problem they choose to solve. The candidate must be capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
The intern will contribute directly to meaningful improvements in service excellence, customer experience, and documentation quality.

What will you be doing?

Provide sustaining with guided supervision in the following tasks:

* Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on Planning, Procurement, and Warehouse Management, with a strong emphasis on process automation and strengthening operational KPIs to improve efficiency, reliability, and decision-making.

* Observe and document existing processes

* Assist in analyzing processes and systems to streamline customer-facing and internal operations.

* Will help us manage large volumes of historical data, as well as manipulate and clean the data directly through code. Python and SQL

* Process automation using Power BI for data visualization and Power Apps

Planned Start Date: January 26th. 2026

Program Length: 6 months
Location: Alajuela, Coyol

What will you need to be successful?

* Education: Active student in Systems Engineering or Computer Science

Competencies:

* English Proficiency B1 according to CEFR.

* MS Office basic proficiency (Basic Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Basic skills for the use of simulation tools or models (eVSM).

* Basic Statistical Analysis abilities

* Skills: assertive communication, teamwork, good interpersonal relationships, results-oriented, time management, analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail.

* VBAs Macros
- SQL
- Python
- Power Apps 
- Power BI (preferable)
