Description:

* Performs process and quality improvements through data analysis, problem solving, product audit, standards, and optimization with process controls within Logistics.

* Provides technical problem solving to Physical Logistics teams.

* Performs root cause analysis of complex quality problems utilizing tools (such as 8D, Six Sigma, Projects, or SPC).

* Participates in driving continuous quality improvement activities for Plant manufacturing issues.

* Coordinates cross-functional quality improvement/issue resolution teams to address repetitive issues and quality improvement with a focus on preventative measures.

* Implements and validates effectiveness of process controls and inspections.

* Supports key process characteristics while developing and steering implementation of control mechanisms.

* Steers quality topics in daily Work Organization.

* Ensures relevant BMW standards & specifications are met to achieve quality product results.

* Leads investigations from product audits regarding defect landscape & indicator results.

* Reports status updates of open topics in Technology department meetings.

* Collaborates and supports quality planning for series production.

Qualifications:

* Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering.

* Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).

* Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

* Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.

* Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).

* Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

* MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

* Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

* THE WORK TERM DATES ARE JANUARY 11th - May 14th, 2027.
