Packaging Development Intern (Spring 2027)

Qualifications:

The qualified intern/Co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

* Work with Packaging Planning Team.

* Support BMW Packaging Planners with daily activities improving and maintaining existing products in existing production areas, as well as assist with analysis of packaging concepts/options for future models.

* Support in analysis of existing packaging (steel and non-steel) for optimizations to reduce environmental impact, logistics costs, or for communizing across multiple product lines.

* General support for Packaging Planners on modifications, identification projects and modification of existing packaging.

* Moderation of Packaging Planning Meetings, including team meetings and packaging reviews for new/modified containers

Qualifications:

* Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics Students.

* SAP knowledge preferred.

* German and/or Spanish language skills preferred.

* Logistics knowledge preferred.

* Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)

* Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

* Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.

* Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).

* Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.

* MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT

* Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.

* THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11th - May 14th, 2027.
