Job Description
Powertrain Solutions is a provider of diversified powertrain products and solutions in our three market segments Electric Vehicles (EL), Passenger Cars (PC), and Commercial Vehicles / Off-Road (CV/OR) - from gasoline and diesel injection to electric drives with battery and fuel cell technologies.
As a Ford Customer Team Intern, the overall purpose of this role is to gain experience and training while assisting with departmental tasks in Sales, Innovation Management, and Project Management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Onsite located in Farmington Hills office
* Execution of sales-related activities to maintain and expand business opportunities in the areas of fuel injection systems, thermal management, and sensors.
* Support with Sales planning and coordination of tasks to ensure on-going customer satisfaction
* Support the Innovation Managers in executing pre-development / co-development projects

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering from a 4 year university
* Minimum GPA 3.5
* Sophomore or higher class standing
* Self-starting, results oriented, flexible, team player
* Structured working approach to high quality standards
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills
* Good attention to detail, decision making, and problem solving
* Able to present self well when communicating
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* English language proficiency
