We are now looking for a

Summer Trainee, Strategic Partnerships

To work with KONE's Strategic Partnerships function, focusing on collaboration with our key digital technology partners (Microsoft, AWS, Infosys) and helping accelerate AI adoption, upskilling and partnership portfolio coordination across KONE. You will be part of the Strategic Partnerships team in Espoo, Finland (occasional visits with colleagues in Hyvinkää and other sites).

Hybrid & remote work: this role follows KONE's flexible hybrid model. We expect at least 3 days/week on site in Espoo for co-creation sessions, stakeholder meetings, and partner workshops; the remaining time can be remote, aligned with team schedules, needs and events.

We are looking for a student with ongoing studies (senior bachelor's or close to master's stage) to work for 3-4 months between May and September 2026, based on availability and preference. Possibility to start part-time during spring 2026 (e.g., 2 days/week) is an advantage, but not a requirement.

What you will do
* Support to coordinate partner collaboration with Microsoft, AWS, and Infosys (cadences, actions, follow-ups, stakeholder alignment, risk/issue tracking) and maintain a clear overview of the joint initiative portfolio.
* Upskilling & enablement: assist in planning and organizing learning paths & sessions and hands-on activities that build internal digital & AI capabilities.
* Support AI adoption and use-case enablement: help identify, scope, and prioritize opportunities with business and technical stakeholders, and link partner capabilities to the same.
* Insight & materials: follow-up and prepare concise briefings, one-pagers, and executive updates; keep collaboration artifacts up to date and easily consumable.
* Light PMO: support milestone planning, dependencies, stakeholder mapping, and documentation to keep initiatives on track.

In order to be successful in this role, you preferably have
* Ongoing higher-education studies; senior student close to the master's stage (e.g., Business Administration, Industrial Engineering & Management, Information Systems or similar).
* Some work experience in industrial business (manufacturing, engineering, operations, industrial services, or similar).
* Genuine digital & tech-savvy mindset; strong interest in AI/ML, cloud, data & analytics, and partner ecosystems.
* Strong communication skills in English; ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, concise messages (slides/briefs).
* Project portfolio coordination and follow-up capabilities
* Proactive, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment.
* Plus: Hobby projects are a strong plus-share your GitHub, hackathon experiences, data/AI club activities, or similar that demonstrate curiosity and drive.
