Are you ready to learn and contribute to the future of observability at Siemens? Join us as an intern to support our team in building and maintaining a global framework that empowers teams across the company to gain deep insights into their applications and infrastructure.
You'll make an impact by:
* Support the development and enhancement of a Siemens-wide Observability framework
* Learn and work with cutting-edge technologies: Datadog, Python, AWS, Terraform, OTEL
* Assist in designing and implementing Terraform modules for automated Datadog resource provisioning
* Help develop REST APIs with scalable, serverless backends to streamline automated workflows (AWS)
* Support building and maintaining robust data pipelines leveraging OTEL
* Assist with Kubernetes (EKS) deployments for observability solutions
* Learn to provide guidance and support to internal customers within the Observability ecosystem
* Collaborate with global partner teams to learn best practices and contribute fresh ideas
Your success is grounded in:
* Open mindset with a strong drive for learning new technologies
* Customer-centric approach-you understand that observability is about empowering people
* Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment
* Currently pursuing a college/university degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
* Basic knowledge of Python or similar programming languages (academic or personal projects)
* Interest in cloud and container technologies
* Good communication skills in English
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
You'll stand out with:

* Academic projects or coursework related to observability, monitoring, or data analysis
* Basic familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
* Exposure to Kubernetes through coursework or personal projects
* Previous internship experience in a technical role
