We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Intern to join our team at our luxurious resort in Constance Moofushi, Maldives. This exciting opportunity will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of food and beverage operations within a tropical island setting.
* Assist in the day-to-day operations of our food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and in-room dining
* Support the service team in providing exceptional customer experiences to our guests
* Learn and apply food and beverage service techniques and standards
* Assist in the preparation of dining areas, including table settings and décor
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand menu items and special dietary requirements
* Participate in team briefings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food and beverage areas
* Support the organisation and execution of special events and themed nights
* Contribute to the improvement of service procedures and guest satisfaction
* Gain exposure to various aspects of food and beverage management, including inventory control and cost management Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
* Basic knowledge of food and beverage service principles
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
* Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
* Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Willingness to live and work in a tropical island environment
