Data Engineering Intern - Data Warehouse Redesign

About the Role

We're looking for 5 motivated Interns to join our Partner and Sales team!
Your main mission: help us reinvent the data warehouse by redesigning and implementing our code on DBT
We invite you to an opportunity where you build a modern, and future-proof data platform.
This is a hands-on role where you'll get to dive into real-world data engineering challenges and learn from experienced engineers working on global-scale data solutions.

What You'll Work On

* Refactoring existing DWH code to DBT, acquire skills in Analytics Engineering.
* Learning how to build and engineer data models that power analytics across multiple teams and countries
* Implementing data quality and governance automations to ensure flawless data and business trust.
* Collaborating with senior engineers and analysts to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
* Documenting and improving processes along the way

What You'll Learn

By the end of your internship, you'll have hands-on experience with:
* DBT (Data Build Tool): industry-standard tool for modern data transformation
* Data modeling principles: how to design scalable, consistent, and accurate data models
* Best practices in data quality & automation
* Collaboration in a global analytics environment
* Real-world migration projects - the kind you won't learn in school

What We're Looking For

* Interest in data engineering / analytics / ETL processes
* Some exposure to SQL (DBT experience is a plus, but not required)
* Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team environment
* Curious mindset and attention to detail

Practical Details

* Location: Our office in Amsterdam - a cool, collaborative space where you'll join us on Wednesdays & Thursdays. The rest of the days, you can work from home.
* Hours: Flexible, but a minimum of 24 hours per week. (Exact schedule can be discussed.)
* Start Date: 1st January
