Lab & Testing Support - Working Student (Krakow)

Working Student is a long-term paid internship that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. MN RAN L1 SW KRK department designs, tests and integrates new functionalities on gNB system level and prototype SoC boards to evaluate radio physical layer IP solutions.
Location: Krakow

* Handle technical and engineering tasks within the laboratory
* Take care of the inventory for common laboratory assets
* Support other laboratory users in their daily work
* Enhance your telecommunications competencies in 5G and its evolution
* Repair electronic and electrical devices
* Update internal technical documentation
* Create and maintain technical documentation
* Support other laboratory users in their daily work

Profil requis du candidat:

Must - Have:
* Active student status (for at least one year)
* Good communication skills in English - both verbal and written
* Availability to work from the office (Krakow laboratory)
* Knowledge of Linux (command line)
* Understanding of network technologies, Cisco vendor-specific knowledge (CCNA or equivalent knowledge)
* Knowledge of how to read electrical and electronic diagrams
* Willingness to learn/improve testing techniques and methodologies
* Pro-active and self-dependent attitude as a test expert, fighting for your feature as well as to be able to work as a team player and support others with your know-how
* Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and solve complex problems
Nice-to-Have:
* Technical background in telecommunications (wireless or fixed networks), system and network performance test processes, test environment setup and debugging methods
* Ability to diagnose and service electronics and electrical devices at a basic level
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office
