In this role, you will work closely with the actuaries, data engineers and technical accountants to build the database solution for South Asia. He/she will be driving the data management & database strategy for South Asia markets, including but not limited to data standardization, cleansing, validation, and other value-add services & initiatives.

Key duties and responsibilities
* Support the formation of database solution and data pipeline for South Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and India)
* Design and refine modules to process bordereaux data, including standardization, cleansing and validation
* Draw preliminary insights from the data and perform necessary data transformations
* Communicate any identified data issues with various internal stakeholders
* Streamline the data flow from central database to other tools / platforms for the purpose of technical accounting and experience analysis
* Provide support on value-add services and data initiatives via collaboration with other departments

Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous internship in data or actuarial field in a similar environment is not required but will be advantageous.

* Proficiency in SQL, preferably with hands-on experience in university or work

Required Education
* 3rd or final year pursuing BBA with a major in Actuarial, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or relevant fields
