Our Shanghai HQ is looking for a AI Design & Digital Experience Designer (VIE) to be based at its plant at Faurecia Automotive Seating Business Group, in China. The AI Design & Digital Experience Designer (VIE) plans and executes complete engineering design products or specific projects, from initial design concept through to production release and post-production support, for source automotive seat products. Overall responsibilities and duties: The VIE AI Designer will support the transformation of FORVIA's Industrial Design ecosystem through the integration of Artificial Intelligence, advanced digital workflows and visual communication excellence. Main responsibilities include: * Support the deployment and continuous improvement of our AI-driven design processes within the Industrial Design organization. * Collaborate closely with the Senior Studio Engineer / Digital Transformation, Industrial Design Process Ecosystem Architect, to identify, test and implement software improvements, digital workflows and Automation opportunities. * Contribute to the evolution of FORVIA's digital design ecosystem through AI agents, generative design approaches and computational design methods. * Create high-quality CGI renderings, animations, videos, presentations and visual communication materials supporting customer projects, RFQs and innovation initiatives. * Transform complex technical content into compelling and persuasive visual narratives with good user experiences as key target. * Support the creation of new business-impact solutions ( like through automation) and collaboration projects similar to the Cost Comparison Tool initiative (support digital continuity) . * Promote digital continuity and stronger collaboration between Design, Engineering, Innovation and Efficiency teams. * Facilitate global collaboration across FORVIA's international design studios and development centers. * Contribute to the development of future digital capabilities enabling greater efficiency, creativity and customer impact. ## Your profile and competencies to succeed Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be: * Passionate about both Design and Technology. * Curious about and active with Artificial Intelligence, emerging software and digital transformation. * A creative thinker with strong analytical capabilities. * Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment. * Strongly business-oriented with a customer-centric mindset. * Able to combine outstanding aesthetics with practical process improvement. * Enthusiastic about shaping the future of digital product development. Minimum education level: * Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Product Design, Digital Design, Design Engineering, Computational Design, Visual Communication or related disciplines. Experience: * First professional experience, internships or academic projects in Industrial Design, CGI, AI-assisted design or digital product development. * Experience with visualization, animation or CGI production. * Experience with AI-supported design tools and workflows is considered a strong advantage. * Exposure to software development, automation or computational design methods is a plus. * Trainee ships in automotive industry are an advantage * International project experience is appreciated. Skills and competencies: Technical Skills * Good understanding of AI-assisted design tools and workflows. * Experience with CGI rendering, visualization and animation software. * Strong digital content creation capabilities including images, videos, presentations and storytelling assets. * High understanding of User experience & human centric design with connected digital product development & realization processes. * Ability to evaluate and test new software solutions. * Basic knowledge of scripting, programming or workflow automation is a plus. * Strong proficiency with presentation and visual communication tools. Soft Skills * Exceptional aesthetic sensitivity and styling awareness. * Strong understanding of perceived quality and premium product communication. * Excellent visual storytelling capabilities. * Ability to create emotional impact through design communication and customer presentations. * Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Self-driven and proactive attitude. * Ability to work effectively across global teams and cultures. * Strong learning agility and curiosity toward new technologies. Languages * Fluent English (mandatory). * Chinese is a strong advantage. * French is a plus. * Additional languages are considered an asset due to the global nature of the role.
