Job Overview

The Junior Analyst supports the R2R function by executing low-complexity, clearly defined accounting activities within a limited scope, following established procedures and templates. The Analyst I operates with close supervision while developing foundational accounting, systems, and process knowledge

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
* Journal entry preparation
* Execution of reconciliations using predefined templates
* Support fixed assets, cash management or intercompany tasks under supervision
* Support month-end close activities for assigned processes.
* Ensure tasks are executed accurately and on time according to procedures.
* Escalate issues or inconsistencies to senior team members.
* Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements.
* Actively participate in training and learning initiatives.

* Basic accounting knowledge (GAAP concepts).
* Developing analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
* Basic English and Spanish communication skills.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* 0-2+ years of relevant accounting experience (or internships).
* Exposure to general accounting, AP or AR processes preferred.
* Basic experience with ERP systems and MS Excel preferred.
* Technical degree in accounting or undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (in progress or completed).
