About the role

The GL Associate Accountant supports General Ledger accounting activities by performing routine accounting tasks that contribute to accurate and timely month-end close processes. This role develops Record-to-Report (RtR) process knowledge while ensuring transactional accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

* Prepare and post recurring journal entries.
* Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
* Perform accounting data checks, validations, and account reviews.
* Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
* Support internal and external audit requests.
* Generate standard reports and assist with financial analysis.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues

Qualifications and skills

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 0-2 years of accounting experience.
* Basic understanding of accounting principles.
* Proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
* English proficiency.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
