Description du poste

INTERNSHIP IN FASHION DESIGN & PATTERN MAKING
Margeamirage is looking for a fashion design intern on part time basis for the development of its new collection F/W 2026
The Fashion Design Intern will assist in the design, development and production of clothing lines for our company. This position requires excellent design skills, a strong understanding of the fashion industry, and an enthusiasm for creating beautiful clothing. The intern will be responsible for researching trends, sketching designs, selecting fabrics and colors, and providing support to the design team.
Responsibilities:
* Research current fashion trends and anticipate future trends
* Assist in creating sketches and illustrations by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD) software
* Select fabrics, colors, patterns, trims, and other materials to be used in designs
* Assist with sample making/prototype development and experimentation
* Work closely with the design team to ensure garments meet quality standards
* Contribute creative ideas during design meetings
* Support other tasks as neededRequirements:
-The candidates must be able to make an internship contract from their achoolchool or training organisation.
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to fashion design and/or pattern making.
-Basic knowledge of CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is MANDATORY.

-No previous experience required. However the candidate MUST BE FLUENT in English. Fluency in other languages is appreciated but not mandatory.

Duration:
The internship will last for 7 - 8 weeks on a full time basis.

Profil recherché

- At least 1 year of formal education is required in pattern making and technical designs.

- Canddiate must posess basic knowledge of fabric compositions, fabric codes, technical design language and basic pattern manipulation.

- The candidate MUST BE FLUENT in English. Fluency in other languages is appreciated but not mandatory.- International students are encouraged to apply
