Maintenance Intern

This position will be hosted by the Maintenance Department in a Coil Coating manufacturing facility within Sherwin-Williams' Global Supply Chain group and will report directly to the site Maintenance Manager. The goal for this internship is to help hone basic maintenance reliability engineering skills in a Coil Coating manufacturing facility and learn the different process and tasks involved in the role of a Maintenance Mechanic. It also aims to help establish attention to details, awareness and understanding of the safety requirements relating to the role of a Maintenance Mechanic.
Additional Information:
Schedule: 1st Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm, but can create schedule based on class schedule
Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors

Requisiti del candidato:

Minimum Requirements:
* Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status
* Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university at the time of the internship
* Must have junior or senior class standing
* Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8

Preferred Qualifications:
* Be pursuing a degree in Engineering Technology or a related field
* Have previous Internship/Co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams
* Have previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field
* Have previous internship or co-op experience in the Sherwin-Williams Global Supply Chain Division
* Have leadership experience as demonstrated by your involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community
