HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Thus far I have really enjoyed living in a Wohngemeinschaft with Germans. Plus the dorms here are quite removed from the city and I was able to find a cheap apartment in the Altstadt.
Personal comments:
The Studentenwohnmeinem (privately run dorms) are nice but not close to the downtown area. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: German
Was learning German a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your German?
My level before: No problems in any areas (including slang) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
This was my second exchange to Germany, so language was no problem for me. Other friends that don't speak as much German don't seem to have too many problems though either. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Family Other sources of funding:
Baden-Wuerttemberg Scholarship Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
The Euro is really strong and so most things are expensive. alcohol is cheaper here but you just drink more of it. Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Housing: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Don't drink a lot. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Doing a language course at the beginning of your stay does not take up much of your time . . . plan some trips and some parties. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Come if you like hanging out with people and don't require the excitement of a big city. There is a lot to do here and a lot of people to meet but it is still small. FINAL COMMENTS
