I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 weeks in AIL Madrid. Not only was I placed in the appropriate level, the pace and quality of teaching is superb. Cultural activities were really interesting as well, giving us a glimpse of life in Madrid.

I strongly recommend AIL Madrid to anyone looking for a good learning experience. I must add that their customer service is quite excellent and you should contact them for any clarifications.

Can't speak highly enough of AIL!!

Only spent 4 weeks there and wish I'd spent more, will definitely be going back.

Jesus was my teacher and he was brilliant, I started out as a low intermediate in Spanish and am now speaking confidently with Spanish people.

If you want to improve your Spanish and explore an amazing city, definitely go to AIL!!!

Pros
1. The teachers I had (Nacho and Edu) were genuinely interested in my progress and went the extra mile to ensure that all students understood everything. If this meant spending an extra 5-10 minutes after class repeating, they were more than happy too.

2. The extra-curricular activities. I have studied Spanish in Malaga, Salamanca and Argentina so having activities is in itself nothing special - but these activities were. Each day there was something really different, from walking tours, to tapas tasting from Cervantes and don Quijote to bullfighting....  I could carry on, but won't. I would like to stress than the activities combined being fun and stimulating whilst being a fun way to make friends and created a real buzz in the school.
Cons
I have to say it is very difficult to find fault with AIL Madrid, but I am demanding and NOTHING is absolutely perfect so if I am being hüber critical I would say that they should invest in vending machines with drinks and snacks. It is not a biggy at all because there is a cafeteria just in front and all the students hang there at break tome and after class, but AIL if you read this, you have my tip :)

I cannot believe a month has already passed since I came to Madrid. I thoroughly enjoyed the one week that I spent at AIL Madrid. My teacher, Ana, was excellent and overall I received a very favourable impression of AIL. It is difficult just parachuting in for one week but and my school  teachers over here say that it has given me a lot more confidence with my Spanish (in fact my teacher has been considering sending her own daughter to do something similar with you next Feb.)

I would also like to thank you for finding us such wonderful accommodation. Lourdes was an absolute star and so kind, making me vegetarian food every evening. She is an extremely nice woman - and her son was lovely too.The position of her flat was great. Our accommodation really couldn't have been better.

I studied 6 weeks in AIL Madrid, and I improved my Spanish a lot. Thanks to my great teacher, which I think was the best teacher I have ever had in my life. I learned Spanish really good, and I understand and speak Spanish now in such a short time quite good. The classes were really good, absolutely!!! Beside that the school organizes many other things and they help the students in all kind of issues. When I came to Spain I did not expect that there a school can be so professional. The staff is very friendly, and for every question they will help you. So go to AIL Madrid!!! You will see that you did the right choice!!!

During the summer I have had 3 weeks of semi intensive course at AIL. Before arriving to Madrid I have had contact with Hugo from the AIL team and I can not be more satisfied with the way I was helped by email/phone. He took all the time to answer all my questions and explained everything that I needed to know. Upon arrival I met the AIL team and my class. My class consisted of 8 students and we had an amazing time during and after the classes. In general the program is intensive, although it depends on the teachers and their teaching methods. This is great because you can choose what type of method suits you best. In my experience the AIL team is quite flexible and willing to help!

In addition there are interesting and fun after class activities that will make your stay in Madrid even more fun!
