Overall
To say that I was disappointed with this language school would be an understatement. My advice would be to save your money and study online, or go elsewhere.

Formal grammar instruction at this school is minimal or non existent. The classes are meant to take the following structure - 1st session: comprehension, 2nd Session - grammar, 3rd session - conversation. However, the school takes a conversational approach to learning and it feels more like 4 hours of conversation practise. This is not a balanced approach to language learning.

If you want formal instruction and some knowledge of Spanish grammar you are wasting your time going to this school.

Class size can be as high as 12 people per class, particularly in August. This prohibits effective language learning and the ability for individuals to really engage in the classes.

If you are a young person (18-25) and are more interested in enjoying the Spanish culture and making the most of the schools fun (and often free) activities, but you aren't too serious about learning Spanish, then this is the school for you.

Pros
The teachers are enthusiastic and friendly. The online resources and the one on one sessions with tutors on Wednesday and Friday afternoons are helpful.
Cons
Classes on Fridays at this school are a waste of time. Every fortnight the teacher conducts informal surveys with every student to find out what the students have thought about the classes and the school. This means, depending on how many students are in your class, the teacher can be outside of the classroom for the entire classroom period. So I ask, what exactly are you paying for? It's a waste of money.
In August class sizes can be as high as 12 people per class. This is mainly because this is the time when the teachers take their holidays so there are limited teachers available. This is too many people to have an effective language class and I would suggest the school reconsiders this approach.

Valencia has a very nice night life and the climate is perfect.

I felt the teaching was good at AIP, the team is excellent. However when I had a problem this was not resolved properly by management. In the end I felt like they just wanted my money and didn´t really care about improving a system they like.
