Avis sur Camino Barcelona

I attended 1 week course in Camino Barcelona Spanish language school in May this year (2011), and it was a pity, that working full time and being a mother, I could not have stayed longer! 
The experience exceeded all my expectations! I met wonderful people – the teachers and other students, learned a lot and had a real fun both learning and exploring Barcelona! The teachers were friendly, efficient and enthusiastic, we all were having fun learning through the explanations, often very funny and done all in Spanish, and the communication with other students in role playing games. 
There always were two teachers to teach our group each days (two lessons one and two lessons another), and I found that their different approaches to explain topics were helping to understand it much better! Besides, being taught by different teachers helps to improve the listening skills, understanding of different accents etc... I dramatically improved my language skills! 
I attended the super-intensive course, and liked my choice – the extra lesson (one hour a day) helps to explore different aspects of Spanish culture such as TV programs, music, geography of the country etc – it is very amusing, you start to understand Spanish way of life feeling it from inside...

I lived in the apartments in school – it is so convenient – I could go there in the lesson break. The apartments are very comfortable, with Wi-Fi, perfect kitchen, huge TV-set, access to the sun terraces in the roof etc... I had so good flat-mates...  Besides the school is located in a very centre of Barcelona (10 minutes to Plaza Cataluña), everything is just around the corner. Additionally there are many restaurants and cafes a minute away, the supermarket just across the road, even the Aerobus from airport stops 30 meters away from the school!

The social program was a lot of fun: you have it together with other students, having a free welcome drink, exploring Barcelona, going to ice-bar, tapas bar, and making your own Sangria on the sun terrace of the school with your favorite teacher! The other students were interesting: learning salsa, going to the Camino walks across Spain, visiting from Australia, planning to move to the Latin America etc...  We had a great time, and next year I hope to come for Spanish (super-intensive) and Flamenco course (I will choose the 3 lesson Flamenco course to leave me more time for other events of Social programs). I suggest everyone to come and study in Camino Barcelona!

I studied in Camino for 5 weeks this spring and I enjoyed it a lot! I had wonderful time, my teachers were great and I made a lot of friends and saw a lot of Barcelona as well! I only knew a little Spanish when I arrived, but now I can speak, I learned present, past and future tenses, acquired a lot of vocabulary and built up my confidence in speaking! Now I speak Spanish and I read books (though adapted ) as well!

I had a lot of teachers during my time at Camino, my favourite ones are Miguel, Xavi and Joan. Estella, Jerusa were great as well! Rosa is so perfect that I can understand absolutely everything she says from the very beginning – from zero level! 
Miguel creates an atmosphere of fun in his lessons and encourages you a lot! Xavi has such a ways to explain the grammar that you immediately get it and he gives a lot of interesting information about Spain and Barcelona! You learn a lot – not only Spanish. Joan sometimes teaches through arguing with you – and it is a lot of fun! 
So I learned a lot, having fun at the same time!

The activities were amazing – my favourite ones were the visit to a Latino club, flamenco show, visit to ice bar, making sangria on the terrace, visit to Park Guel, excursions to Raval and Bario Gotico (my favourite barrios), park Labirith…. 
I lived in the on-site accommodation and made a lot of friends there from all over the world – from Sweden, from United States, from Russia, from Germany, from Brasil, from Nederland, from India, even from a very small country I have never heard before  Studying in Camino you meet people all the time: in the classes, as flat-mates, on activities, on the additional lessons, on salsa lessons (I also took 2 weeks of Spanish and Salsa…) 

I am coming back in September for a longer course and some of my friends are coming too! Such a pity that not everyone is able to come here the same time!!! It was great!

Камино Барселона это замечательная школа. Занятия проходят в очень доброжелательной атмосфере. Каждый день Школа организует различные мероприятия, где можно попрактиковать полученные на уроках знания. Так же отмечу собственную резиденцию школу, расположенную на верхних этажах самой школы. Жить там очень интересно и весело!

Choosing Camino Barcelona to study the Spanish language was one of the most unforgettable experiences I had yet and also a great value for the money and time! 

Simply, when I decided to study an intensive Spanish course in Spain, I thought of making every single second counts. So, I chose to study in Barcelona as it has almost all the sorts of joy that I love including the sunny beaches, nice weather, tasty food and the historical charm of the architecture. 

With some research about the Cervantes’ accredited schools, I came across the website of Camino Barcelona which, along with their Facebook page, clearly reflected the overall richness of this school.

Every single day I had in Camino was a pure joy because of its variously  distinguished aspects that included: the school’s location in the heart of Barcelona which is super close to many touristic attractions and most importantly close to the beach, also the cheerfully welcoming staff, the quality on-site accommodation with a very good cleaning service, many lovely afternoon activities, arranged tours across the city in which we enjoyed and extended our daily practice of the language for they are led by the teachers themselves, the daily afternoon club where we can do our homework by the help of a teacher and we can watch a chosen Spanish movie while enjoying the provided soft drinks. The valuable aspects of Camino also included its spacious and nifty classrooms and the highly interactive language training methods with some cool games. 

Oh, I forgot to mention the everywhere-available candies! It was irresistible!

amazing experience! wonderful Spanish courses!

Pedro, Ainoa and Laura are my Spanish teachers. They are very friendly, easy-going, and professional! Every day, there are different activitives after school, for example, wine tasting, bicycle riding, city tour, etc. We also visited Tarragona, a historical city, and had great tapas at weekend. I made many new friends from different countries here. I really enjoyed my stay at Camino Barcelona Language School. I'll definitely come back one day ❥(^_-)

在Camino Barcelona度过了人生最棒的一周，巴塞罗那是我去过的最喜欢的城市！这里的建筑、美食、气候、球队都让我很欣喜。我一直很喜欢西班牙语，Camino Barcelona的老师们都很专业，他们有独特的教学方式，上课的时候通过一些游戏、比赛、漫画，言简意赅地让你记住单词和语法，在这样的环境中，提高西语是很快的。学校里有很多来自世界各地的同学们，我认识了很多新朋友，大家相处融洽，课后我们也会约了一起聚餐、去海边游玩、看球赛  超级超级喜欢Camino Barcelona，我以后一定还会回来的！爱你巴塞罗那！❥(^_-)

Je me présente, je m'appelle Adèle et j'ai 17 ans. J'ai étudié à Camino Barcelona pour seulement 1 semaine. Elle fut extraordinaire... 
L'atmosphère est très bonne et studieuse en même temps. Les professeurs sont excellents. ils nous donnent envie d'étudier, d''apprendre l'espagnol et  ils sont toujours à notre écoute. 
Le point positif est que toutes les nationalités sont présentes dans un et seul endroit. Nous nous faisons des rencontres du 4 coins du monde, c'est magique... 
Il y a également de nombreuses sorties avec l'école pour nous faire découvrir Barcelone et ses alentours. Lors de mon séjour, j'ai visité deux villes sublimes : Montserrat et Sitges. 

Je vous conseille fortement en tant que lycéenne d'étudier à Camino pour leur professionnalisme et leur bonne humeur au quotidien...

I attended Camino Barcelona twice, and tried anoter school in Madrid in between. It is a long way from Australia and I wanted to make sure I got it right. Well, Camino Barcelona did just that. Their teachers are really amazing - each class was well organized, always on-time and always heaps of fun. 
The support staff there were also excellent, they not only knew who I was, and greeted me (always!) but also asked how I was finding the course and my time in Barcelona as well.

Barcelona is also a great city to visit, and the school takes a lot of pride in showing off their city, with events every-day that you can further your Spanish while having a great time.

I stayed in the attached accommodation, which is a real bonus, although others may prefer the home-stays (or other options) that are available.

In comparison to the school I went to in Madrid (which was OK) Camino Barcelona was miles better, and you could see it in the faces of my fellow students, who all were keen to come to class, to take part and to get to know each other. Now, even 3 years after I first went there, I am still in touch with some students. I went there in 2012 as well, and it was just as good.

I would recommend augmenting the group classes with a private class each day - it was the best way for me to learn and re-enforce.

I spent one week with Camino and have never felt more at home within such a short period of time! As it was my first time in Barcelona, I was keen to explore and I was very impressed with their daily trips and excursions which allowed me to see Barcelona and also fit in time for my studies. The quality of teaching was excellent and I really enjoyed the Spanish-speaking environment. They truly do provide a total immersion experience in the classes and accommodation – which is the best way to learn the language! (having said that if you are shy or a beginner the admin. staff speak every language under the sun, so don´t worry!).

I decided to stay with a host family which I would definitely recommend- the couple were super friendly and made delicious meals every day, also helping with any language-related questions I had. 

Although travelling alone for the first time was very daunting for me, as soon as I arrived at Camino I felt instantly welcomed and part of the school. The ´copa de bienvenida´ on my first day was a great way to meet people and make friends and I´d highly recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their Spanish in a sociable environment with top-quality lessons! I will definitely be returning!

It was unforgettable holiday in Camino Barcelona! I spent there 4 amazing weeks of studying Spanish, meeting new people from all over the world, having fun in Barcelona. I didn't speak Spanish before, but now I can speak Spanish and even understand native speakers! All my teachers were so friendly and nice to everyone and I want to say "muchas gracias!" to Joan and Xavi - they are the best! After classes there were many various activities with Pedro : walking around different parts of Barcelona, eating tapas, visiting exciting places - lots of excursions! We had fun every day!

I was living in the on-site accommodation and that's so useful when you live in the same building with school and right in the city centre! I loved that a lot!

I haven't been to language school like this before, but I met a girl at camino who was studying Spanish in different schools, and she said Camino is the completely different and much better than others! I'm so happy that I chose this school!

Three weeks into Camino and I can honestly say this is the most interesting, interactive and comprehensive course I have ever taken. I am absolutely loving it. 
From the start, the school has gone over and above to help me, from providing information on how to obtain a visa(a tricky situation after Brexit) to how to efficiently settle into Barcelona. 
The lessons contain a lot of information but it is presented in a fun, interactive way with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. If you are struggling there are opportunities in the afternoon to access free lessons with a teacher so that you can go over any difficulties and come out feeling confident. 
The accommodation contains everything necessary to have an enjoyable and comfortable time in Barcelona and the international community means that you are meeting a lot of new people and experiencing many cultures. 
One of my favourite parts is the schools activities. There is one nearly every day and they are constantly offering different activities that cater for everyone’s interests. For example, informative tours, cooking paella classes, day trips to other parts of Cataluña and even free welcome drinks to introduce all the new class members.

It was overwhelming arriving in a new country with no knowledge of the language but Camino’s community has given me such a warm welcome, I cannot wait to experience the rest!
