Excellent and useful courses even for a week Linguaschools

I've attended one week course of Spanish A1 at Linguaschools this summer 2016. Although I had really less time then others to feel the atmosphere I had really good time and trained my Spanish well, I really felt the progress after the course. The teacher is very helpful and the program is easy to understand, with lots of interactive things, lots of speaking (with teacher and in pairs with other students), the topics that are covered are actual and modern to use them in future for communication. Books and everyting that is needed are provided. Other students were friendly and you can easily become friends with others if you are traveling and attending courses alone. I recommend to take part in extra-curriculum activities cuz they are really fun, but you need more time than the 1-week course for that. I dind t have that much time. Location is superior, at the centre. And accomodation that is provided with courses if you choose that option is very good, located 10 minutes walking from the school, in a beautiful house with all the conviniences. I can recommend the school for everyone - for those who only can attend shorttime course as well as for those who are interested in long-term studying.

Each day I looked forward to going to school Linguaschools

Being a professional language teacher myself, I was pleasantly surprised how good the Spanish course was.

Each morning I strolled to school with an exspectant grin on my face, because I was looking forward to four wonderful lessons with two enthousiastic and competent Spanish teachers. In my A1.2 level course there were usually about eight students from different countries and of different ages, who were keen on learning Spanish. Thanks to a short oral test
before the beginning of class our levels matched quite well.

My teachers complemented each other well and took over where the other left off - usually by doing a short and effective repetition. We managed to get through two units of the book the school gave to us. Some lessons might have been a little slack regarding our progress in grammar. But although I love grammar a lot, that didn't bother me the slightest bit, because they teachers provided us with 2 hours non-stop listening comprehension when they chatted about their home country and it's culture. Furthermore, I find it really impressive that they could tell us A1.2 learners lots of stories and explain lots of Spanish words and their usage by using just Spanish. English wasn't used in class altough both teachers were able to speak it. Both did their best to encourage us to speak Spanish and ask everything we wanted to know - and explained well and patiently. We were offered a lot more words by the teachers than by the school book, so those pupils who wanted to learn more could do so, those who were satisfied with the basic needn't to learn more than the book listed. Luckily we didn't have to do the usual role play stuff but instead did a puzzle game and talked about several Spanish short films we were shown on the internet and so on. Additionally there were different kinds of written exercises too. Short texts we wrote ourselves got checked by the teachers immediately. In a nutshell: the lessons were great fun and the teachers professional.

Apart from my teachers, the staff was welcoming too, and tried to make/let you speak as much Spanish as possible.
The school also had air condition in the classrooms and you could always get a cool drink of water for free. Although the school is located right in the heart of Barcelona, it is situated in a quiet and picturesque road with no car traffic. So sitting in the garden in front of the house is lovely.
Furthermore, the school offered a lot more than just lessons. Each day, even Saturday, they had a special programm in wich you could take part for free or just a few euros for, like, transportation costs. The special activities included a visit to the cinema, a discussion about stereotypes, volleyball at the beach, a trip to Sitges.

In short, my only regret is that I could stay for just one week. I wish it could have been longer.
The lessons with the very friendly, very Spanish and professional teachers!

Learning Spanish from professional people and traveling is a great combination! Linguaschools

I had a good time at Linguaschools Barcelona! The atmosphere at school was very cosy and everyone was very friendly, which is extra important when you're traveling alone, it makes you feel welcome. I'm especially very satisfied about the teachers, they know how to bring in a lot of humor into their lessons and they know how to bring their stories clear even though I was just a beginner. They also created a lot of opportunities to practice Spanish. I would have liked to meet more people though to meet up in my spare time after class, some activities couldn't take place because there were not enough people singing up for it. But it was definitely an experience I won't ever forget, learning Spanish from professional people and traveling is a great combination!
The cosy atmosphere, everyone was very friendly: the team, the teachers + I learned a lot, a lot of opportunities to practice Spanish.
The appartement was a bit outdated, would have liked more activities.

My experience with linguaschools was just great! Although the school is small, but it is very professional and organized. All the staff and the teachers are very friendly and helpful, always full of energy and happy to teach! I learned so much in just 3 weeks!
The atmosphere outside class (during breaks or activities) is also great!! I had an unforgettable time there, I surely recommenced linguaschools to everyone!
The service offered by the school: the teaching, the housing, the activities..
I seriously can't think about anything negative from my experience!

Great Experience Linguaschools

The quality of the teaching was way above my expectations, teachers are friendly and well prepared, the school is very organized either in the way classes and courses are structured as well as activities after school. Classes are small so that you have to possibility to have a 1to1 interaction with the teacher and also interactions are highly encouraged.
The location is right in the city center, easy to reach and walking distance from bus stops and metro.

I'll definitely recommend it.

Great Instructors and a lot of fun Linguaschools

Course details: 4 weeks, 20 hours/week, private flat, May 2018
I loved attending this school. The quality of instruction is excellent and being there was also fun. I was one of the older students (I am old enough to be the dad of most of the students AND FACULTY). While there were other older students, most of the attendees were in their 20s. Socially there were no distinctions between students regarding age. I befriended other students as young as 16 and as old as 74. The instructors kept the tone lively and fun and used drills and games to help us master different aspects of Spanish. I enrolled in the Spanish Intensive for four weeks which was 5 1/2 hours of class each day, 2 hours of which was conversation. The conversation was conducted by a very vibrant woman, who while she corrected your grammar kept all of us actively involved in practicing what we were learning while getting to know each other. Since there were students in my classes from 14 different countries at various times, this was fascinating getting to know not only different cultures but via different age groups. I heartily recommend attending this school. You'll learn Spanish and enjoy the time doing so. I'm going back again next year.
-The instructors were excellent: great at teaching and keeping things fun.
-The students are of all ages and dozens of countries. Great opportunity to meet people you might otherwise never encounter.
Nothing important. I encountered a couple of administrative glitches but they apologized and fixed the issues. Everyone makes mistakes. I think it is more important not that things are flawless, but that they are addressed and remedied. The school was good at that.

I did a 3 week course last summer and had a great overall experience.

It is hard to imagine the school is located in the center of Barcelona as it has a garden and the street is very quiet.

I had 3 different teachers which were all very friendly and energetic. I came as a beginner in Spanish and learned a lot in those 3 weeks. Made many friends and will definitely return this year!

I only went to Linguaschools for 1 week to learn Spanish. I liked it very much and wish I could stay longer. They made me enthusiastic to continue to learn Spanish.

The lessons were very fun and informal. The teachers were very kind and concluded everyone in class.

The location was in a lovely building and was very central.

I was only in Barcelona for a week, but I learned a lot. I even corrected my friend, who is learning Spanish for a couple of years.

I had a great time in Barcelona due to Lingua Schools. My apartment was located next to the cathedral, right in the city centre, and only 10 minutes walking distance away from school. The classes were very informative and fun and allowed me to improve my Spanish quickly. Next to that I met a lot of nice new people here, which made my stay even better!

exellent way to study spanish Linguaschools

Course details: 2 weeks, 2 hours/week, shared flat, June 2018
I've studied in Linguaschools in Barselona 2 weeks 11-22 june 2018. It is really good way to feel the atmosphere of Spain, to know a lot of information about cultura and traditions of Spain, to practice language in natural situations.
The school is situated in the center of Barselona (not far from Passeing de Grassia) near the metro. It is pleasant to go to the scool in the morning by the shadow strits, drink cup of cofe by the way in small caffe and start a new day of getting a knowlege.
Whole the lesson is only on Spanish and the teachers explan good grammar and take speaking practices. We were discussed some actual situations in the world, selebrations in Spain, food and dishes in Spain... very interesting! All nessesary matirials and study book are given by the school.
Good Teachers of high qualification! They are real professionals, and i'm happy I've got that experience.
I wsa study 4 hours in a day, I think it is optimal correlation between work and free time.
In the school there are diffirent activities after school: lectures, came together to different places for prictice spanish, Sangria y Sandia :))
weekend is free and it is possible to go some places out of Barselona.
For me it were my vocations, wich I've spent with pleasure and use :)
i recomend that school my friends and I will go there next year again!!!
cheerful, profeccional teachers, the school is good situated in the city, much speaking practice
prohibid to smoke near the class room.
