I spent 6 weeks in this school. The teaching stuff is very professional. Professors wanted you to understand the material and always helped us. All the time they used only Spanish (NO ENGLISH), so we were completely absorbed in the language. The lessons were really useful and funny (especially when teacher tried to explain smth using different approaches - painting, dancing, singing, facial expressions). As a result, I started to speak Spanish very fast and it was very easy to learn new words and grammar rules. I did not have to swot up them. Just relax and enjoy the learning :) As for accommodation, there are a lot of good options. I chose a luxury single appartment and I liked it very much. Also I like that you have your personal web page where all necessary information is located.

I enjoyed LinguaSchools Spanish class for 2 hours of every morning of my 3-week stay in Barcelona, and that made every "real" conversational experience around town -- in restaurants, stores, museums, taxis, etc. all the more comfortable and gratifying. The classes were an interesting mix of one-on-one, conversational practice along with the necessary finer points of grammar. The instructors were excellent and very friendly, which gave a personal touch to every class meeting. The small class sizes of 6-8 students provided a great chance to meet students from around the world through the common experience of learning Spanish together. I would highly recommend LinguaSchools to any travelers wanting to make the most of their experience abroad.

Y lo recomiendo en todos los ámbitos: muy bien organizado desde el primer contacto, las chicas de recepción eran siempre muy amables y siempre me han ayudado con cortesia, actividades semanales para descubrir lo mejor en Barcelona en los que participar o no, todas interesantes, biblioteca donde se puede alquilar los libros más o menos difícil en función de su nivel de español, profesores jovenes y muy profesional, tengo un recuerdo muy positivo, un saludo especial a Angela, Ángeles, Pilar y Valeria. I did five days on the intensive course as part of a holiday in Barcelona and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The standard of the teaching was really high – the classes were well structured and our enthusiastic teachers moved us through the material very effectively. I particularly liked the nearly exclusive use of Spanish by the teachers during the lessons, what better way to get your ear tuned in! Even after four days I was on my way to basic conversational Spanish. The location of the school, the atmosphere, the beautiful building and garden all made for a very enjoyable experience.

A team of high-level and friendly teachers, a professional and always available staff, a central and well connected location, good options for the accommodation, wonderful activities outside to discover and live Barcelona's life! In a month I have improved my spanish in a remarkable way. I have a second family in Spain with new special friends from everywhere. I will come back for sure!

I took my Spanish course in Linguaschools Barcelona and Valencia. The Linguaschools are definitely the place , where you want to return. Teachers and all staff at schools are excellent, very professional, friendly and helpful. All lessons are very good structured, with the grammar part and conversation as well. There is a lot of extra school activities , where you can learn a lot about another cultures. Very good locality of schools. I would definitely recommend the Linguaschools. Thanks.

This was so cool!! I was in a hurry so I just picked Linguaschools. I could start the next day, so that was perfect. I was a bit worried about the fact that all lessons were in Spanish. For 100%.. and I was just a beginner. But it was perfect! I loved it.

Because all classes are in Spanish, you are kind of forced to be focused. And that's what I needed. I did an intensive course of just 1 week. But I will come back to learn more. But even in this week I learned so many basic things.

The crew was super nice, the girls from the reception (and more) so friendly. The teachers experienced and the location was nice. A good mix of people from different ages and cultures. I felt at home immediately.

So yes.... My Spanish is not perfect at all. But I'm all positive about the lessons.

I had 2 weeks of cources in july 2014. It was great!

I had 10 lessons a week (it isn't intensive), but after 2 or 3 lessons I took in spanish with customers and waiters.
After 2 weeks my spanish was enough to talk with taxi-driver during half an hour =)

Location of school is very good, students can use PC with internet, can take DVD or books. There is nice garden, where students do homework, or practice in spanish and make many new friends from different countries.

I had a good time at Linguaschools Barcelona! The atmosphere at school was very cosy and everyone was very friendly, which is so important when you're traveling alone. I'm especially very satisfied about the teachers, they know how to bring in a lot of humor into their lessons and they know how to bring their stories clear even though I was just a beginner. A week is too short to actually notice that many progress, but it does offer a lot of possibilities to practice listening and speaking with some basic sentences. I would have liked to meet more people though, some activities couldn't take place because there were not enough people singing up for it. But it was definitely an experience I won't ever forget, learning Spanish with professional people and traveling is a great combination!

It was a spontaneous decision to take a course at this school and I literally loved it! I had other courses in my home country but I never had teachers so dedicated to their profession.
I took a individual course with focus on speaking, listening and grammar and I learned so much!
If you look for a friendly and homely atmosphere and you really want to learn the language - go for linguaschool in Barcelona!
