A Day in the Life
As an Accountant Intern reporting to the Accounting Manager in Bucharest, you will be at the heart of our agile Finance team. You will collaborate closely with local teams and our international Shared Service Center, ensuring seamless financial operations. Your main responsibilities:
* Operational Accounting: Drive daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in our financial records.
* Expense Management: Take ownership of reviewing, validating, and archiving employee expense reports, ensuring they align with internal policies.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison with our Shared Service Center and internal operational departments to streamline processes and resolve queries.
* Financial Controls: Support monthly closing activities by performing key controls on Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and reporting.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for a proactive Master's student with a strong analytical mindset who is eager to launch their career in finance. To succeed, you will need:
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems with high attention to detail.
* Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) to manage and organize complex data.
* Communication Skills: Fluent English to collaborate effectively within our multicultural and international environment.
* Organization & Rigor: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Collaboration: A cooperative mindset to partner with diverse stakeholders and build trust across the business.
