The Deep Offshore Block 17, located 140-150 km off the Angolan coast, operates at water depths ranging from 600 to 1,400 meters. The Area B hub comprises two operating FPSOs, CLOV and PAZFLOR, which cover seven fields: Cravo, Lirio, Orquidea, Violeta (CLOV), and Perpetua, Hortência, Zinia, Acacia (PAZFLOR). The current production from Miocene and Oligocene turbiditic reservoirs is approximately 180 kbopd. This high operational area includes over 100 active wells and regular 4D monitor acquisition.
Area B also encompasses the BEGONIA 2G&R team (B17/06). The 2G team focuses on Reservoir Geology and Geophysics activities to maximize production and reserves from Area B. This includes well delivery, reservoir representation/modeling, static quantification of volumes and related uncertainties, and assistance with dynamic representation and understanding of the reservoirs.

The main missions will be as follows :
* Analyze the Geological data before being interprete
* Participate to the geological synthesis of static data and check the representativeness of the results
* Participate in 2G seismic interpretation and static and dynamic synthesis
* Participate to the evaluation and quantification of volumes in place
* Contribute to new opportunities investigations
* Participate in the preparation of development wells
* Active follow up in collaboration with Sub and Drilling on well's drilling and trajectory optimization if necessary
* Ensure the sustainability of the information acquired (memos/reports, data management of study databases)
* Participate in technical meetings with partners and the ANPG concessionaire
* Actively contribute to the collective intelligence of the Team and propose fresh and innovative ideas to create additional value for the Area B Asset.
* Comply with the Company's and Subsidiary HSEQ principles, as well as the best practices of Geology, in line with the internal Referential (Company Rules and GMs).

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

* Master or engineer degree in Geology Engineering, Petroleum Geoscience
Technical skills and soft skills :
* Basic knowledge of seismic and geomodeling
* Enjoy challenges and opportunities, commitment to carrying out operational and research activities, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team (multicultural and multidisciplinary), and attention to detail

Computing skills:

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office softwares (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Languages:

* English: level C1
* French: level B2/C1
* Portuguese is a plus
