Join us as a VIE Government Affairs in our International Graduate Programme ! Are you ready to kickstart your career with the leading pan-European market infrastructure? Euronext is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Government Affairs department as an International Graduate (V.I.E). The position will start as soon as possible and will report directly to the Chief Policy Officer and Member of the Group Executive Committee, for an initial period of 12 months. The Government Affairs department plays a crucial role in shaping the regulatory landscape and ensuring that our business operations align with governmental policies and regulations. This department is responsible for engaging with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and industry associations to advocate for the interests of our company. It works closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategies that influence policy and regulatory developments, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive business environment. You will be primarily responsible for: Assisting with the tracking of legislation and public policy issues, including Euronext engagement within relevant associations and trade bodies. Conducting research on specific issues, legislation or policy initiatives, relevant to Euronext. Supporting the development and execution of advocacy campaigns or outreach initiatives, towards EU and national institutions (e.g., European Commission, European Parliament, permanent representations of Member States, national competent authorities) supporting the group's policy objectives. Coordinating with team members within the Government Affairs (GA) team, Regulatory Affairs (RA) team, Business Units (BU) and across the group in order to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and regulatory requirements. Assisting with the preparation of presentations, reports, assessments and briefing materials for meetings and conferences

Candidate Requirements:

Your Profile: - 2 years of relevant EU (primarily) regulatory and/or government affairs experience, preferably in the financial services sector. - Good understanding of the EU legislative and regulatory processes. - International experience, cultural sensitivity, and proven international exposure. - Experience with participating in projects to defend organisation's interest. - Leadership skills and experience in a high-demanding, complex environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages (e.g. French, German or Italian) is a plus.
