What's the VIE Forvia Program all about?

The VIE Program of Forvia is an international young graduate program, which enables young graduates native from the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28 to work for one of our subsidiary around the world!

What is your role and surroundings?

Our Faurecia Automotive Seating - North America Seating Division is looking for you as a VIE - Program Controller m/f for our site in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

The role of a Program Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the program in development mode in order to guarantee and optimize the program team's financial performance.

What will be your main missions?

Guarantee the accuracy of the Program Business Plan Financials according to the Group, Business including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules Group and Division policies,
Ensure the budgetary control of the program for D&D/Proto spending, Capital Spending, Tooling Spending, etc.
Identify and analyses the variances between plan updates and Costed BOM updates
Work closely with plant controllers as program nears plant start up to ensure validity of plant budgets, while at the same time validating assumptions remaining plan
Validate the economic justification of program investments and ensure their follow-up.
Develop D&D/Proto, Capex, and Tooling budgets and associated forecasts, as well as program periodic reporting in accordance with Group procedures and deadlines
Propose and support suggestions when decisions committing the program are made
Participate in the development of action plans and ensure their financial evaluation and follow-up
Control the programs cash flow, especially investment cash flow and accounts, receivables, payables and inventories related to D&D/Proto, Capex, and Tooling.
Support the Program Manager in the management of the dedicated program team
Develop ECR process within program team, train program team resources, and monitor/change as required to ensure robust and efficient process

Candidate Requirements:

What you need to join us?

Master's degree/Engineering diploma in Finance / Economy
First experience in controlling, preferably in R&D and/or industrial environment
Fluent in English
Business minded and strong teamwork sense
Demonstrated good communication skills and autonomy
Advanced Excel Level
SAP knowledge will be a plus
