About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Finance Business Analyst Apprentice to join our Central Controlling team based in Valence.

This role offers a hands-on experience in operational controlling, with a particular focus on R&D activities and project monitoring. You will work closely with Finance and operational stakeholders, including developers, technicians and project managers, to support financial reporting and project follow-up activities.

Unlike roles primarily focused on financial consolidation, this position provides direct exposure to business operations and project environments, allowing you to develop a strong understanding of how finance supports decision-making and operational performance.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Central Controlling team, you will contribute to the following activities:

Financial Closing Activities

* Participate in monthly financial closing activities.

* Support financial data management using SAP, Timesheet and other finance tools.

* Contribute to the monitoring and validation of financial information.

R&D and Project Controlling

* Prepare project reporting in collaboration with operational teams, including developers, technicians and project managers.

* Support the financial follow-up of R&D activities and projects.

* Participate in the analysis of project-related topics and ad hoc requests from stakeholders.

Budget and Forecast

* Participate in budget and forecast preparation cycles.

* Support the preparation and consolidation of financial data and reporting.

Business Support and Continuous Improvement

* Respond to ad hoc requests from Finance, Controlling and operational stakeholders.

* Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and reporting tools.

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance organization.

Profile

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft tools

* Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Languages

* English level B2 or above.

Personal Skills

* Organized and able to manage multi

* Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

* Ability to work with various stakeholders from Finance and Operations.
