Mechanical R&D Trainee/Apprentice/VIE

Using the CAD system (Catia), supporting the design engineers/technicians with component measurements, failure analysis and design changes (2D/3D) using the ECO (Engineering Change Order) process.

In relation with the Product Technical Engineer / Leader / Manager of the related projet(s):

* Support testing of prototypes including: environmental, mechanical and electrical testing.
* Measurement of parts to ensure compliance to component drawings/specifications
* Support failure analysis of products - mechanical teardown, x-ray, visual inspection
* Complete debug reports for failure analysis and review with design engineers
* Complete benchmarking analysis on competitors products, draft report and present findings to mechanical team.
* Design 3D model and prepare definition files for products, prototypes and test means.
* Build 2D drawing with functional dimensions according to ISO standard.
* Manage Product definition file into PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) database.
