Job Description

STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. is looking to hire a motivated Maintenance Apprentices to join the Equipment Engineering and Maintenance Department.

Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Perform basic maintenance tasks on assigned equipment to ensure optimal operation.
* Execute intermediate maintenance activities on assigned equipment as required.
* Complete all necessary documentation accurately and timely to maintain maintenance records.
* Enter relevant data into the system to support tracking and reporting.
* Respond promptly to equipment issues, making interventions in the shortest possible time to minimize downtime.
* Maintain an organized and clean workshop environment to promote efficiency and safety.
* Keep the toolbox orderly and well-stocked to ensure readiness for all maintenance tasks.
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols and work in a safe manner at all times.
* Support major technical interventions, including preventive maintenance (PM) activities, as part of the maintenance team.

Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
* Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Power BI.
* Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Possess effective communication skills.
