Your Mission
As a Data Science & Automation Intern, you will be immersed in the commercial and operational data landscape of EMEA Countries. You will help us unlock insights and automate reporting processes to support strategic decision-making in our Structural Heart division.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop demand-based sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and input from Regions and EMEA Marketing teams
* Monitor inventory levels, identify gaps, and analyze contingency and burn-down plans to address fluctuations in demand
* Automate recurring reporting tasks using Power BI, Excel, prepare and review KPIs, analyze sales performance, and communicate insights to management. Investigate exceptions (e.g., abnormal demand) and propose improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process automation opportunities
* Create and maintain documentation, including process flowcharts and user guides for automated tools
Your Profile
* University degree in Data Science, Finance, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
* Proficiency in Power BI and Excel is required.
* Experience with Python, RPA tools, or SQL is a strong plus.
* Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
* Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.
* Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
* Previous internship or project experience in Demand, Finance or Data Science is a bonus.
