Job Description:

* Educational recommendations: current PhD student in relevant areas e.g., electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or quantum technologies
* Location: Espoo, Finland (Please note that international relocation support is not available for trainee positions)

The candidate would carry out research in some of these areas: mobile communication technologies, like 5G-Advanced and 6G systems, AI/ML, algorithms, quantum technologies, software development or simulation methods. You will be working as part of the research team

Candidate Requirements:

You have:
* a PhD student position suitable for the research topics mentioned in the description above
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, being able to express yourself fluently
It would be nice if you also had:
* Basic understanding on wireless cellular systems and radio access methods
* Very good software skills, e.g. C++ or Matlab as well as experience on simulation methods and tools
