Internship / Master thesis on non-periodic metasurface design (m/f/x)

Your role

* Investigation on techniques to simulate/model aperiodic metasurfaces
* Determination of specific properties of aperiodic versus periodic metasurfaces for given applications (metric and merit function definition, computing cost)
* Comparison of theoretical and experimental results
* Documentation of the algorithms developed and results

Your profile

* A background in Electromagnetism (interferometry, scattering, ...) and/or mathematics (topology, discrete and combinatorial geometry, mathematical crystallography, ...)
* You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in one of the above subjects and experience in these fields is a plus
* Applied knowledge in Python and /or MATLAB
