Internship in the area of complete vehicle testing midsize cars from September/ October 2024

Job Description:

The tendering department is the test department for complete vehicle midsize cars and is responsible for series production support and development of Mercedes-Benz midsize cars, especially in the area of powertrain gasoline and diesel engines. The focus is on tests and approvals on the complete vehicle and maturity assessments for model updates and new model launches.

After appropriate training, you will be able to work in a development team and take on the tasks of a type supervisor.

These are some of the challenges you will face:
* Supervision of vehicle superstructures and conversions
* Preparation of test drives
* Organizing and attending test bench appointments in close cooperation with the test workshop
* Evaluation and presentation of test results
* Participation in committees and working groups

Qualifikationen

* Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study
* Proficient in written and spoken German and English
* Confident handling of MS Office
* Commitment and ability to work in a team
* Analytical way of thinking and strategic way of working
Driving license class B desirable.
