Job Description:

Plan and design the heart of our automobiles with us in the "Mercedes-Benz Powertrain" department in Untertürkheim: high-quality and future-oriented drive systems for all Mercedes-Benz cars. With our "Powertrain Program Management MFA2 & MMA" department, you will help shape the entire product portfolio of batteries, engines, transmissions and all-electric drive systems up to ten years into the future.

As part of the internship, you will be part of the motivated "Program Management Drives" team, supported by a committed way of working in a team and ensure a smooth process within drive development and other areas by synchronizing the schedules of the individual development steps.

By working together with different departments of the Group, such as Sales, Vehicle, Powertrain and Powertrain Development, Production, Purchasing, Controlling, Quality, etc., you will gain an excellent overall view of the interaction within our organization and get to know different facets of the company.

Specifically, you will be involved in the following tasks:
* You will be responsible for the preparation, follow-up and implementation of cross-project project manager meetings
* You create and coordinate interdisciplinary schedules and cross-functional rollouts for future drive systems
* You support the optimization of the drive portfolio by driving forward test orders and identifying technical/commercial needs for action
* You create decision templates for various hierarchy levels and obtain product decisions
* You make evaluations, create committee documents, organize team/project workshops and much more

Qualifikationen

* You are studying industrial engineering, business administration, mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
* You are business fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English
* You are proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
* You have a high level of comprehension, are reliable, work independently and are proactive, open and communicative
* You are available full-time for six months
