Job Description:
the EPO (Europe Procurement Organisation) Finance intern provides support in controlling, financial analysis, and reporting activities to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial information for decision-making. He/She contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes while assisting in cash management and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in controlling activities, Ebitda analysis, BAR, budget, and Strategy.
* Contribute to the preparation of reliable, accurate, and timely financial reporting & analysis.
* Help prepare variance analysis reports comparing actuals to budget and forecasts
* Support cash management activities, including follow-up and OWCR evaluation. Assist in cash analysis tasks.
* Assist in managing credit risk and account receivables, including overdue follow-up efforts to minimize bad exposure.
* Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal audits - Sox
* Respond to ad-hoc requests related to controlling topics and contribute to the digitalization and harmonization of various financial topics
Qualifications & Skills:
* Knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
* Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
