Intern - Quality of Experience Experimentation

Job Description:

We are looking for an intern to join our Digital Infrastructure Technologies division from Jan-Jun 2026.

Quality of Experience (QoE) experimentation involves assessing a user's experience through various methods to gather both subjective and objective data, in order to identify issues and optimisation methods. For example., Youtube measures and optimises QoE for video streaming, to give end users a good video viewing experience. For new digital services such as AR/VR, remote teleoperations for robots, the QoE is less understood and so experimentation can yield insights, for example how Singapore's 5G infrastructure can better support such use cases.

Project Scope
* To co-develop and conduct experiments on Quality of Experience (QoE) for connected digital services.

Learning Outcomes
* Understand the interplay of digital connectivity and modern digital use cases, how each affects the other, through hands-on learning approach.

Requirements
* Analytical mindset with strong ability to design and conduct fair experiments, data collection, analysis, etc. For example, familiarity with experimentation frameworks such as QuALMRI, etc.
* Experience in networking technologies and using network tools such as wireshark are preferred.
